Russian version of the report

This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.

The report is devoted to investigation of current standing market of natural graphite in CIS countries and in the world and forecast of its development of. The report is composed of 7 Sections, contains 120 pages, including 46 Figures, 45 Tables and 2 Appendices.

The report is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), State Customs Service of Ukraine, Inter-State Statistic Committee of CIS Countries, official domestic railage statistics of JSC RZhD (former Ministry of Railways of Russia), data of companies, the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of companies, internet-sites of company-producers and consumers of natural graphite were used.

The first Section of the report is devoted to analysis of standing of world market of

of natural graphite. The Section presents information about reserves and production of the product, data on its export and import. Besides, dynamics of world prices on various grades of graphite is given, as well as pattern of consumption of natural graphite in USA and China has been analyzed.

The second Section of the report presents information about quantity of natural graphite deposits in CIS, their geographic location, reserves and degree of development.

The third Section of the report is devoted to analysis of production of natural graphite in the CIS. The Section presents data on volumes of the production in 1997-2009, traces dynamics of natural graphite production, information about available processes of obtaining the product and their features, as well as requirements of normative documents, imposed on quality of natural graphite of various grades.

The fourth Section of the report is devoted to current standing of graphite companies in the CIS.

The fifth Section analyses foreign trade transactions in natural graphite in Russia and CIS. The Section presents data on volumes of exports and imports of the product, evaluates regional pattern of supplies, and presents data on volumes of natural graphite, supplied by exporters and importers. Information about prices on natural graphite at domestic Russian and Ukrainian markets, as well as analysis of data on dynamics of export-import prices on the product for the latest 6 years is given.

The sixth Section of the report is devoted to consumption of natural graphite in Russia and Ukraine. The Section presents supply-demand balance of the product, evaluates sectoral pattern of the consumption, and describes main consumers and end-uses of natural graphite.

The seventh, final Section of the report is devoted to forecast of natural graphite production in CIS up to 2015.

The Appendices present addresses and contact data of leading Russian producers and consumers of natural graphite.

This all allowed us to reveal actual picture of market of natural graphite in CIS and to evaluate its prospects.
