The company includes 4 major Departments specializing in studies of specific market sectors. Department of Base and Rare Metals is the oldest division of InfoMine, it has been formed when the company has been founded in 1993. At the present time, the department staff is comprised of a group of highly-qualified experts and analysts; these studies are supervised by the General Director of our company, Doctor of Engineering Mr. Igor Petrov. The department specialists have produced over 100 reports devoted to the analysis of markets of base metals (aluminium, copper, nickel, lead, zinc, tin) and rare metals (titanium, magnesium, molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, etc.) in the CIS. Well-known multinational corporations (ÂÍÐ Billiton, Rio Tinto, INCO, Falconbridge, Eramet, etc.) and Russian companies (JSC Russian Aluminium, JSC SUAL-Holding, JSC VSMPO-Avisma, and others) are among our clients. Close collaboration has been formed with a number of consulting companies of high standing to conduct joint researches of world markets for non-ferrous metals (Roskill, CRU, Brook Hunt, etc.). Department of ferrous metals and ferroalloys has been organized in 1996. Headed by Mr. Gennady Avdeev, the Department includes a group of highly skilled experts and analysts. The Department has produced over 50 reports, devoted to the analysis of markets for ferrous resources (iron, manganese and chrome ores), ferroalloys (ferrochrome, ferromanganese, ferrotitanium, etc.), products of ferrous metals (stainless steel, bearing steel, pipes, grinding bodies, etc.). On annual basis, monitoring of information and renewing of the study «Standing of Ferrous Metallurgy of Russia and Ukraine» is being completed. Among our clients are well-known foreign and Russian companies (CVRD, Corus, Mittal Steel, Kazchrome and others). We also collaborate with a number of well-known consulting companies, involved in studying world markets of ferrous metals (MBR, CRU). Department of Chemicals has been organized in 1999 and now it includes highly qualified experts in the field of synthesis and processing of polymers. The Department is headed by Mrs. Lola Ogrel. The department specialists have produced about 100 reports, devoted to the analysis of the current standing and the prospects of development of markets for various chemicals: · heavy-chemicals industry (sulphuric acid, soda ash and caustic soda, chlorine); · mineral fertilizers (potassium chloride, potash, phosphate fertilizers, ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers); · products of organic synthesis (phthalic anhydrite, benzene, phenol); · synthetic resins and plastics (PVC, polystyrene, polyethylene, polyethylene-terephthalate); · polymer-processing products (PVC window sections, composite pipes, flooring, materials for manufacturing of advertising carriers, etc.); · sorbents and catalysts (activated carbon, white carbon, industrial catalysts); · coke-based products (pitch and pitch coke). Leading Russian and international producers (Russian - United Trade Company (UTC), PJSC Renova, IChC Eurochem, AK Sibur, JSC Soda, JSC Caustic and others; international - Dow Chemical Company, Hydro Polymers, Hitachi Ltd) are among our partners. The Department has close professional ties with a number of well-known consulting companies, involved in studying of world markets for chemicals (Harriman Chemsult Ltd, Fertecon Ltd.). Department of industrial minerals and construction materials has been organized in 1998 and it is headed now by Doctor of Science (Engineering) Aleksei Semenov. The Department has produced over 50 reports, devoted to analysis of current standing and prospects of development for the markets of industrial minerals and key construction materials. By now, the published studies cover above 30 types of industrial minerals (including asbestos, barite, boron, iodine, gypsum, various kinds of clays, carbonate rocks, sands, feldspar, sulphur, phosphates, and others), as well as about 20 types of construction materials (including cement, lime, brick, glass, construction ceramics, roofing and heat-insulating materials, and others). Leading Russian (Eurocement Group, Ceminvest, Basel-Cement, Gypsum-Knauf, LSR Group and others) and international (Nordkalk, WBB Minerals, CERAM, SQM Europe, Lhoist, IMERYS Group, Industrial Minerals and others) producers are among our partners. Among other important areas of our activities are: - market research for oil and petrochemical products (fuel oil, lubricating oils, greases, petroleum coke, and others); - market research for materials for machinery (castings, railway wheels, bearings, and others); - market research for precious metals (gold, silver, platinum group metals); - market research for wood derivatives; - environmental investigations. |
